Moms stripping while dad is deadbeat
In the eyes of their children they could see the defeat
The image being reflected upon their children is evident
In their home, grades and good behavior seem irrelevant
Since their parents aren’t relevant,
A good factor in their lives
The misconception of leading by example is gonna cause their demise
Death by dishonor
They feel backed into a corner
Escape the path of destruction before causing infliction on their mourner
What are the kids to do?
Standup for what’s right or
Sit back in let it soak in
Ring out the situation before everything comes to an end

When I was 8 on the playground
I was bullied and tossed around
Got called many names my weight was a big part of their game
Turning the happiest 15 mins of school into a frown

Around 14 I had my first love
Who said things will go right
I tried so hard for it with all my might
Fought for it twice my heart paid the price
Didn’t have that much time to spend
So return to sender
Mail away my feelings
Scramble them up in a blender

By age 19 I learned the point of having a best friend
The difference between the ones I had in the beginning and the ones I brought to an end
Tumultuous time in my life that I had to use a big word
The time I had invested was worth it all I guess it was absurd

Lying out all the dirty laundry
Hang out all on the line
